Financial Accountant
Glenn joined Simon Brien in 2025, bringing over 15 years of accounting experience gained across a diverse range of industries including retail, logistics, animation, charity and insurance. Throughout his career, he has developed extensive expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, analysis, with a particular focus on improving systems and processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy and business performance.
Glenn plays a key role in supporting the financial operations of the business, providing valuable insight that helps inform decision-making across the wider team. He is particularly passionate about using technology to improve reporting and has advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, having delivered internal training sessions to colleagues throughout his career.
Glenn holds a BA Hons Degree in Accountancy and is a qualified member of CIMA, combining technical expertise with strong commercial awareness and analytical skills.
Outside of work, Glenn enjoys spending time with his wife and three sons. A lifelong learner, he has a keen interest in reading, music and is currently working through piano grade examinations. He also regularly practices karate and has been a member of his local club for over 30 years, achieving the rank of 3rd Dan black belt.
